Motilla supports childhood leukaemia research through a €5,000 donation to the Health Research Institute of the Hospital Clínico de València (INCLIVA), together with the launch—alongside this institution—of the solidarity campaign “Feel Together: a commitment to childhood leukaemia research”.

The “Feel Together” solidarity campaign, promoted by Motilla and INCLIVA, was created with the aim of rallying support and raising awareness of the importance of childhood cancer research. It remains open to employees, collaborators, and any individual or organisation willing to contribute.

This initiative forms part of the support for the project “ALL TOGETHER: Precision medicine in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukaemia”, led by Dr Jaime Verdú. Its goal is to improve treatments for children and adolescents diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, the most common paediatric cancer. Through a precision medicine approach, the project seeks to tailor treatments to each patient’s genetic and molecular profile, increasing cure rates while reducing short- and long-term side effects.

Research to move forward

Although current protocols achieve high survival rates, a proportion of patients still experience relapses or long-term consequences resulting from highly aggressive treatments. Initiatives such as “ALL TOGETHER” pave the way for more personalised and innovative therapies, offering more effective and better-tolerated alternatives for paediatric patients. In this context, Juan Motilla S.L. emphasises the importance of joining forces: “Medical research moves forward when many people and organisations choose to get involved. Our contribution is only a small part of a much greater collective effort—one driven by researchers, healthcare professionals, and families who fight every single day”, says Juan Carlos Motilla, CEO of the company.

Childhood cancer research continues to rely on the support of society as a whole in order to progress and translate scientific advances into clinical practice.
