Internationalisation Promotion Award
Motilla receives the 2025 Internationalisation Promotion Award from the Valencia Chamber of Commerce
The Valencian citrus company Juan Motilla S.L. has been awarded the 2025 Internationalisation Drive Award, granted by the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, in recognition of its global growth trajectory, market diversification strategy, and sustained commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
This accolade consolidates Motilla’s position as one of the most dynamic firms in Spain’s agri-food sector on the international stage, following several years of remarkable growth in citrus export volumes.
“This recognition encourages us to keep working with the same enthusiasm that has brought us this far. Internationalisation is not just about selling abroad — it’s about adapting, listening, and building long-term relationships based on trust,” said Juan Motilla Ferrandis, Deputy to the General Management.
Internationalisation with a distinct identity
Motilla has built its global expansion on three pillars: constant innovation, customer loyalty through quality, and a clear vision of a sustainable Mediterranean brand. Its citrus fruits are now present in the main retail chains across Europe, with growing expansion in markets such as North America, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Among its most notable initiatives are its continued presence at international trade fairs — including Fruit Logistica Berlin and Asia Fruit Logistica —, promotional campaigns at retail points in China, the launch of tailored digital content for local consumers, and the development of educational and nutritional initiatives in international schools.
An award that celebrates collective effort
The Internationalisation Drive Award not only recognises a successful business strategy but also the daily dedication of the entire team behind Juan Motilla S.L., as well as its ability to remain true to its roots while achieving global growth.
“We are a family-owned company born in the heart of Valencia’s citrus region, and we continue to believe that the best way to grow is to do so with purpose — with respect for who we are and with a shared vision,” concludes Motilla Ferrandis.
